Club Rules
Please familiarise yourself with the below club rules
Membership is at the discretion of the clubs officials and subject to a probationary period open to any person over the age of 14, provided they accept and conform to the club rules and safety code and pay such fees as are current and required.
Annual subscriptions are to be renewed by 1st December and new subscriptions after 1st June will be half the annual rate. Range fees are to be paid on all shoots attended, on the day.
All air guns used on the club grounds shall conform to legal limits. ie: muzzle energy= rifles 12ft lbs: pistols 6ft lbs.
Members inviting guests to participate in the clubs activities shall be held responsible for the behaviour of those guests, and shall ensure they are made aware of, and conform to the club rules and are responsible for any guest and fee.
No member shall touch or interfere in any way, with another members gun, equipment or possessions without first obtaining the owners permission.
Nothing other than approved club targets shall be shot on the range. No animals, birds, vermin etc shall be deliberately shot on the property.
No member(s) shall use, or shoot on the clubs grounds at any time other than official club meetings.
ie: when a Supervisor/Marshall are present, club warning sign/safety markings are in position.
Only lead pellets to be used on all shoots.
Opening dates may vary and the club officials shall endeavour to give as much notice as possible when applicable.
On the opening dates the club shall be open at 8.30am and members are asked when possible to arrive no laterthan 9.30am in order that arrangements can be made for the shoot ahead. The zero board shall be open for practice at 9.30am – 9.55 am ( please check with a Supervisor/Marshall before you proceed.)
All members must be in the club H.Q. by 10:00 am whether intending to shoot or not. Late arrivals must report to a Supervisor/Marshall and cannot be guaranteed a place in the days before commencing.
Practice area shall be available for the setting up of rifle and scopes a maximum of 4 people at any one time on this range and these people are to report to a Supervisor/Marshall before commencing.
All new members must undergo full basic and safety training with a Supervisor/Marshall prior to leaving the club H.Q. with any air gun.
ALL MEMBERS ARE COVERED BY INSURANCE FOR SHOOTING ACCIDENTS ONLY.THE CLUB CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES CAUSED IN ANY OTHER WAY WHILST AT THE CLUB. LIKEWISE NO RESPONSIBILITY IS TAKEN FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO MEMBERS POSSESSIONS HOW SO EVER CAUSED. MEMBERS ARE ADVISED TO INSURE THEIR EQUIPMENT FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE VIA THEIR OWN HOUSEHOLD CONTENTS INSURANCE. ALL VEHICLES LEFT ON THE PREMISES ARE LEFT AT THE OWNERS OWN RISK.
